01
Be your real self
Core principle
Real connection starts with being real. Every interaction on WakeFail begins with showing up as yourself.
We expect everyone here to be their real self โ that means a profile picture that's actually you, a bio that describes you honestly, and conversations that come from real intent.
- Pretending to be someone else โ public figures, celebrities, brands, or other users
- Using a photo that isn't of you as your profile picture (someone else's photo or an AI-generated face)
- Lying about your age โ especially claiming to be 18+ when you aren't
- Coming back with a new account to dodge a ban
- A recent, clearly recognizable photo of yourself as your profile picture
- A bio that's honest about your interests and the way you actually live
- Reporting users whose identities feel off โ it really helps
02
Respect other people's boundaries
Core principle
Everyone gets to decide whether and how they want to interact. No means no.
WakeFail is a place to meet new people โ not a tool for harassment. However it was meant, unwanted contact causes real harm.
- Continuing to message someone after they've said no or stopped responding
- Sending harassing, threatening, intimidating, or insulting messages
- Asking strangers for money, gift cards, or banking info โ this is a scam
- Screenshotting private messages and sharing them without the other person's okay
- Hate speech based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or anything similar
03
Content standards
Core principle
What you post represents you and shapes the tone of the whole community. Bring your best.
Photos and videos
- Pornographic, nude, or sexually suggestive content
- Anything inappropriate involving minors
- Content that glorifies violence, gore, self-harm, or terrorism
- Recording or publishing private videos or photos of other people without their consent
- Anything that breaks the law where you live
- Outfits or poses that are very revealing (close to the line, even if they don't cross it)
- Videos featuring other people (only post if they know and are okay with it)
- Backgrounds with someone else's private info visible (shipping labels, ID numbers, and the like)
- Real, funny "alarm challenge fail" videos โ this is the heart of WakeFail
- Day-to-day photos and videos that show off your personal style
- Lighthearted, sincere, fun sharing
DMs and interactions
- Sending hate speech or discriminatory language
- Sending scams, fake links, or phishing content
- Sending pornographic images or videos in DMs
- Spamming the same message to multiple users

Dating safety tips
In short
We can't verify every user's identity. When you meet up in person, stay alert and trust your gut.
A few habits we genuinely recommend when you're meeting someone:
- First meet: pick a busy public place, and tell a friend or family member your plan in advance.
- Protect your privacy: don't share your home address, workplace, or precise location early on.
- Watch out for scams: any request for money or gift cards is a huge red flag โ report and stop replying.
- Trust your gut: if something feels off, you can block or report anytime. You don't owe anyone an explanation.
- Emergencies: if you're in danger, call your local emergency number right away.
05
How to report
Privacy first
Reports are fully anonymous. The person being reported never sees who reported them, and we protect the reporter's info.
If you come across content or a user that breaks these guidelines, you can report through any of these:
- Report a post or video: tap "ยทยทยท" in the top right โ "Report."
- Report a user: open their profile โ tap "ยทยทยท" in the top right โ "Report this user."
- Report a DM: long-press the message bubble โ "Report."
- Email us: support[AT]beebaby.ai โ for complex cases or when you have supporting evidence to share.
Every report goes into our human review queue. We promise to take each one seriously โ safety isn't something we let slide.

What happens when someone breaks the rules
In short
The response matches the severity. Serious violations mean a permanent ban.
| Severity | Typical examples | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Minor | Unintentional slip-ups, mildly inappropriate language, first offense | Take down the content + send a warning |
| Moderate | Harassing others, posting borderline content, repeated offenses | Restrict features (mute 1โ30 days) + remove content |
| Severe | Pornography, scams, fraud, impersonation, technical attacks | Permanent account ban; paid fees not refundable |
Appeals
Think we got it wrong? You can appeal by email. Please include: the last 4 digits of your registered phone number, what content or action is involved (as best you understand it), and why you think we got it wrong. We'll re-review within 5 business days.
Worth knowing
An appeal doesn't guarantee we'll change the outcome, but every appeal is reviewed seriously. Filing knowingly false appeals can lead to stricter enforcement.
