01

What we mean by CSAE

"Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation" ("CSAE") covers any conduct, attempted conduct, or material that sexually abuses, exploits, or solicits a person under 18 years of age, including but not limited to:

This definition draws on the Google Play CSAE policy, 18 U.S.C. §2256, and internationally accepted anti-child-exploitation standards.

02

Zero tolerance

Core principle

WakeFail does not allow CSAE content, behavior, or intent on this platform in any form. Accounts found engaging in such conduct are permanently banned, and the related evidence is preserved and proactively reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities.

03

Prevention

We've built several product-level safeguards to reduce CSAE risk before it happens:

3.1 Strict age gating

3.2 Content moderation and publishing limits

3.3 Safety in DMs and social interactions

3.4 Optional video identity verification

04

How we detect it

We combine user reports with automated detection to surface potential CSAE content:

Our transparency commitment

We will keep investing in better CSAE detection and will update this standard as Google Play, Apple App Store, and applicable legal requirements evolve.

In an emergency

If you come across content involving a minor in immediate real-world danger, please call your local emergency services first. Preserve evidence and notify us in parallel.

06

How we respond to reports

  1. Immediate removal (within 24 hours at the latest): content reasonably suspected of CSAE is taken off the platform right away so no other user can access it.
  2. Evidence preservation: we preserve the content, the uploader's account info, device fingerprint, IP address, and timestamps. We retain this evidence for up to 12 months — or as long as the law requires — to support law enforcement investigations.
  3. Account action: accounts confirmed to have violated this standard are permanently banned, the related data is frozen, and re-registration is prohibited.
  4. Proactive reporting to authorities: for content involving CSAM, we proactively report to the relevant law enforcement and child protection organizations as the law requires (see §07).
  5. Victim assistance: if a report involves an identifiable minor victim, we provide reasonable assistance and cooperate with law enforcement throughout the follow-up investigation.
  6. Letting the reporter know: we let the reporter know what came of the report, without sharing investigative details.

07

Working with law enforcement and NGOs

WakeFail proactively cooperates with the authorities and organizations below, and responds to lawful requests from law enforcement:

Evidence retention carve-out

For accounts and content suspected of CSAE, even after the account is deleted, we continue to retain the related evidence as long as the law requires, so we can support law enforcement investigations. This retention is limited to that purpose and is separate from our normal user-data retention periods.

08

User education

We commit to actively educating users, parents, and the broader community in the following ways:

For parents and guardians

If you find that a minor is using this platform, please:

  1. Help the minor stop using the app immediately. WakeFail is only for users 18 and over.
  2. Report the account to us at support[AT]beebaby.ai — we'll verify and act within 24 hours.
  3. If you suspect the minor is being targeted by online grooming or sexual exploitation, contact local law enforcement right away and preserve evidence.
